Medale Gloria Medecinæ

W piątek 22-ego października 2021 odbyła się na Zamku Królewskim w Warszawie uroczystość wręczenia medalu Gloria Medecinæ kilku zasłużonym członkom sfederowanych stowarzyszeń.
W tym roku ze względu na epidemię Covid 19, uoczystość odbyła się w obecności laureatów z 2019 i 2020 roku. W ubiegłym roku uroczystość została odwołana ze względów sanitarnych.

Tenże medal otrzymali również w tym roku Dr Boris Duda z Kiszyniowa i Dr Krzysztof Klimczak z Paryża.

Nasze gratulacje dla Koleżanek i Kolegów udekorowanych tym zaszczytnym odznaczeniem.

Dla przypomnienia, liczni członkowie sfederowanych stowarzyszeń otrzymali to zaszczytne wyróżnienie w ubiegłych latach : Dr Bronislaw Orawiec z Chicago w 2007 r., Prof. Maria Siemionow z Chicago w 2008 r., Prof. Marek Rudnicki z Chicago w 2016 r., Dr Ewelina Hrycaj-Malanicz ze Lwowa w 2017 r. i Dr Kornelia Krol z Chicago w 2018 r.

It is my greatest honor and pleasure to inform you that in the group of this year’s recipients of the GLORIA MEDICINAE Medal are our Members and Friends.

All recipients will receive their Medals during a special ceremony at the Warsaw’s Royal Castle on October 22, 2021.
The Polish American Medical Society is proud to acknowledge previous Gloria Medicinae recipients who are still active Members of our Organization: Prof. Maria Siemionow, Dr. Kornelia Krol, Prof. Marek Rudnicki, and Dr. Bronislaw Orawiec.
The Gloria Medicinae Medal is awarded by the Polish Medical Society for outstanding merits in medicine. It is awarded to only ten doctors in the world once a year. The medal is a symbol of gratitude to those whose lives, deeds, and works are filled with the desire to help people and alleviate their suffering. For those whose achievements in the service of mankind create a better world for all of us.
On the diploma, which the laureate receives, next to the Medal, there is a text in Polish and Latin:
„For dedicated service to people, for the highest respect for human health and life, for diligent and dignified performance of the art of treatment, for upholding the honor and noble traditions of the medical condition, for creating lasting values ​​for the good of the Polish Medical Society”.
The nominees are selected by the Medal Chapter in a secret ballot.
